Social Network Consolidation Tools

There really is a social network for just about anything you can imagine out there. Here are a few examples:
Anyway, with so many networks, if each one serves a different purpose, how do you stay on top of all of them? Well, if you have thought of a Web 2.0 need, you can be certain that someone else has thought of it too -- and sure enough, there are now consolidation tools out there to keep all of your social network info in one place. This is especially handy if you want to communicate the same information to multiple communities in which you participate without having to post at multiple sites.
- Steepster - for tea drinkers
- Shelfari and Library Thing - for book lovers (there are BUNCH of book lovers' networks out there!)
- Threadless - commercial community - you submit t-shirt designs, members vote, and the winners become part of the Threadless catalog.
- DeviantArt - artists' community, for artists, photographers, and writers.
- Date My Pet - the tagline is, "Date Me, Date My Pet." For pet lovers who want to socialize with other pet lovers.
- StachePassions - you guessed it - it's all about mustaches.
- matchAdream - search for dreams, compare dreams, start a dream journal . . .
- IntellectConnect - "Embrace your inner geek, and someone else's, too." No. Seriously. I couldn't make up something like that.

Here's an excerpt from a blog post by Larry Brauner on Aggregation Sites:
"Posterous vs. Amplify vs. Ping.fm I prefer aggregation sites over desktop tools, since I can access those sites from any computer wherever I happen to be, and they also help build my web presence. These are my current favorites:
- Amplify - A social bookmarking site. You add links (along with article snippets if you like) using a browser bookmarklet, and your entries are posted to all the social networks you’ve specified. Amplify also has a strong social element and is a useful online social networking resource.
- Ping.fm - A micro blogging site (a little like Twitter). Your posts can have pics attached, and can be distributed to a large variety of pre-specified social websites. You can conveniently submit your posts to Ping.fm by email.
- Posterous - A blogging community to which you can post pics, video and text. Your Posterous posts are shared on a variety of pre-specified social websites. Posterous, like Amplify, has a strong social element. As with Ping.fm, you can submit your posts to Posterous by email, and as with Amplify you can create posts using a browser bookmarklet."
Here are a couple of YouTube videos to get you started with ZooLoo:

Now it's your turn . . .
Create your own ZooLoo account, and use it to sync your Twitter and Facebook accounts. When you've finished that task, then you need to create a post in ZooLoo that will feed to all three networks.
