Finding Images
FIND THE IMAGE THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU:
An easy way to start locating copyright-free media is to search Creative Commons licensed material on Flickr. The banner on this website was made using a Creative Comons licensed photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/oddsock), as was the image above. There are literally tens of millions of images, even with the least restrictive "Attribution" license (Attribution means that you are allowed to copy, distribute, display, and perform the copyrighted work - and derivatives based upon it, meaning that you can make changes to it - but only if you give credit to the license owner). Need to set up a Flickr account? Watch this demo.
