Fotoflexer is a free, extremely easy-to-use online photo editor. In addition to the "free and easy" part, fotoflexer allows you to easily retrieve photos for editing from a variety of sources:
- your computer
- your flickr account
- your facebook account (this includes any of your Facebook friends' photos, by the way)
- your myspace account
- your photobucket account
- the web, if you have a URL for the photo
- many other social networking/social media sites!
Now it's your turn . . .
Working with some of the Flickr images that you found and saved earlier, use Fotoflexer to edit them (be sure that the Creative Commons license allows for "Derivatives" of the original work, so that you can change the original and then use it as you wish). When you are done editing, add your images - both the original Flickr image and the Fotoflexed image -- in your Weebly webpage, as I have done here. Be sure to include an explanation of an assignment for your class(es) that will incorporate the image(s).
Here are some resources to get you started with Fotoflexer:
How to upload a photo and do basic photo editing - video demo. Also, here are some reference sheets if you need them (although, quite honestly, Fotoflexer is so easy that the most effective way to learn it is probably just to get in there and play):
